BIG BLUE BOX: Colin Baker was the special guest at a Dr Who convention SEE INSIDE

Holy Trinity for Dr Who fans

DOCTOR Who fans flocked to the town's first-ever convention devoted to the Timelord last weekend — and were treated to a very special visit by the man himself.

Colin Baker, the sixth incarnation of the science-fiction hero, was the surprise guest at the Big Blue Box event staged at the Trinity last Saturday.

Other well-known faces taking part included local actress Louise Jameson and a number of the writers of the hit BBC show.

All money raised from the event went towards local charity Compaid, which works with disabled people in the local area.
