[edit]

Working as assistant to the Time Lord is surely one of the most demanding jobs in the galaxy.

And while 57-year-old Bradley Walsh might be an unusual choice to join Dr Who, I know there could be none better.

About 10 years ago as I pushed a baby buggy laden with buckets, spades, rubber rings, parasol and lilo across a sandy beach there was just one person who jumped from their sunbed and helped me out of that sweaty nightmare... Bradley Walsh.

Anyone who's ever battled to push a buggy through sand knows battling cybermen is a cinch in comparison.
