[edit]

Tom Baker, as Dr. Who, of course! Baker returns to TV/31 this month as the rogue Time Lord who has a penchant for cunningly outwitting his opponents. Draped in a 17 foot-long scarf, the mop-topped Baker is the actor most often associated with the role of Doctor Who. Baker played the part for seven years and established his character as heroic and even invincible, an image that was later countered by the young and frequently vulnerable character created by Peter Davison.
