Whoovians have been wondering for weeks who will follow in Colin Baker's shoes as the good Doctor. Well, this month, TV/31 goes back in time to the year the world met the original Doctor Who, William Hartnell. For three years, Hartnell starred as the mysterious, irascible, and unpredictable old character from another world. Whoovians will get to see the very first episode of the series, "An Unearthly Child," in which a dimensionally transcendental spaceship plunges the doctor, his granddaughter Susan, and two of her teachers back to the year 100,000 B.C.
Fridays, 8pm
Caption: Not so long ago, in a galaxy not so far away, William Hartnell arrived as the first Dr. Who.
