Billie's got the willies over the Doctor's creepy foes
EX-POP star Billie Piper shot her first scene as Dr Who's new sidekick yesterday — and found that creepy thrills are just what the doctor ordered. She was thrown into a spine-chilling scene in a toy department where sinister dolls come alive and move in to attack her.
"If that's a taste of the new series, it's going to be quite scary," said Billie, 21, who stars with Christopher Eccleston, 40, as the Time Lord in the first Dr Who episodes for 15 years.
"We're trying to create something new with the essence of the original Dr Who but more contemporary," added Billie, who is married to Chris Evans. She'll be tackling a whole new range of aliens — but the Doctor will sort out who's who.
