Timelord guide to Glasgow
DIE-HARD Doctor Who fans obsessed with new Timelord Peter Capaldi can now take a Whovian Tour of Glasgow.
The 56-year-old Scots star is making his debut as the 12th Doctor on the BBC One show this Saturday.
And thousands of TV fans can find out more about the Scots star by visiting Doctor Who sites all around the city where he grew up.
Tourism basses at Glasgow City Marketing Bureau came up with more than a dozen locations to celebrate Glasgow's Whovian links.
Chief Executive Scott Taylor said: "Whether you're a Doctor Who devotee, a Peter Capaldi fan, or just interested in seeing a unique side of the city, the Whovian Guide to Glasgow is a fun and interesting way to enjoy some of the city's finest sights."

St Ninian's High School
The Oscar-winner formed his own Doctor Who Fan club when he attended high school in Kirkintilloch in the 1970s.
The joining fee was 20p and members got their very own Tom Baker-style knitted scarf.
The Tardis
The famous blue police phone boxes scattered all over the UK inspired writers to create the Tardis.
Glasgow boasts six of the 14 remaining boxes. The one on Buchanan Street, below, is sometimes used to sell coffees and ice creams.
Sunken Dalek Mural
The Dr Who painting is part of a new mural trail in Glasgow. The work of art shows a giant sunken Dalek sitting on the bottom of the River Clyde, highlighting the city's long relationship with Doctor Who. It's located on Clyde Street.
Glasgow School of Art
CAPALDI studied graphic design here before turning to acting. He is backing a bid to restore the Charles Rennie Macintosh building which was destroyed by tire. Ex-doctor David Tennant studied drama at the nearby Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Crystal Palace Pub
The Doctor Who Society meet at the Crystal Palace club on Glasgow's Jamaica Street on the first and third Sunday of every month. Members come from across Scotland to show their appreciation for the Timelord and to chat about the show.
Fort Theatre
Capaldi joined amateur community theatre group, the Antonine Players, aged 15 and they regularly performed at the Fort Theatre, in Bishopbriggs.
The group are still putting on popular shows there today.
