Born in Liverpool, she made her screen debut in the 1965 film Ferry Cross The Mersey. She also had parts in Coronation Street, Z-Cars and Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em. From 2007 she also starred in a Dr Who spin-off drama, [[Special:BrowseData/Sarah%20Jane%20Adventures|The Sarah Jane Adventures]]. She had one daughter with actor husband Brian Miller. She left her estate in trust for her family. }}
