The Doctor Who villains were first seen at the cathedral in an episode of the much-loved science-fiction drama 46 years ago. Recreating the image at the weekend, these Cybermen - shinier and sleeker than their predecessors - strode down the steps during filming of episodes for the new series. New Doctor Peter Capaldi, 56, was also on set. Tourists at the London landmark were captivated by the action, but it was less fun for the actors sweltering inside the Cybermen costumes. The Cybermen are among the Time Lord's most persistent enemies, arriving in first Doctor [[broadwcast:The Tenth Planet|William Hartnell's last adventure]] in 1966.
