Dr Who's relationship with his female assistants may not seem to be the most pressing problem facing	 the world but it is the main subject for Access callers today. Is his lack of ardor due to the calibre of the women or his gentlemanly nature?

Silly girls

I do agree with [[Doctor's dilemma (The Age)|S. Simon's opinion (25/8)]] that the Time Lord could be -whomoseexual bat the girls with Sum aren't always gorgeous and some of them are downright silly: and what about Harry Sullivan?

Shame on your column and S. Simons (25/8). Dr Who's public duties involve urine the universe. Its private affairs with gorgeous girls should not become part of public debate. After all, Dr Who is a Time Lord and gentleman. And a gentleman enjoys without telling.

Dr Who is primarily for children, so there's not much cuddling round the console, but Jon Pertwee's suave doctor and his Mary Jane were obviously more than just good friends. Dr Tom Baker has a roving eye, sexy leer. Pay attention Simons.
