The last week has probably just been a nervous blur of excitement for fans of the ultimate sci-fi show. This series has really found its stride recently, and the build-up to tonight's climactic showdown has been truly world-class. So sit down, take the phone off the hook, gag the kids, and prepare for one of the TV events of the year as the Doctor once again begins his quest to save the universe and everything in it. The world (and much more) is in danger as the Daleks activate their masterplan, in the series finale of the Bafta Award-winning time-travelling drama. The Doctor is helpless, and even the Tardis faces destruction. The universe's only hope lies with the Time Lord's secret army of companions - but as they join forces to battle Davros himself, a prophecy declares one of them will die. David Tennant, Catherine Tate and Billie Piper are among the star-studded cast.
