Can I arrange to adopt Matt Smith, please? Having watched his debut in Doctor Who (3 April BBC1), all I can say is: I'm hooked, big time!&lt;br /&gt;

I did have my doubts, as I thought he was a tad too young for the job, but he really bowled me over. He reminds me of my favourite Doctor, Patrick Troughton - or a young Peter O'Toole. This series is going to take everyone's breath away. Now if they could only tweak the theme tune back to an earlier version... &lt;br /&gt;
