I wasn't sure about Amy and Rory in Doctor Who at first, but for the past two and a half years Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have constantly entertained and moved us, creating iconic and lovable characters that went well with Matt Smith's "madman in a box" Doctor. But then came the final day...<br />

Writer Steven Moffat sent the Ponds off with their heads held high. ''The Angels Take Manhattan'' (29 September BBC1) was an exciting, terrifying and genuinely heartbreaking episode.<br />

By the end with that last shot of Young Amelia looking up to the sky for her "raggedy Doctor", I was blubbing. This was the most fitting final chapter for "The Last Centurion" and "The Girl Who Waited". Thanks for the ride... <br />
