Doc fan's Tardis burned<br />

A DR Who fan flew from the US to recover a "lost" Tardis — and found it had been BURNED two weeks earlier.<br />

The fake police box was used in a BBC shoot in 1983.<br />

Richard Briggs, left, of Washington DC, discovered the collectors' item was left behind by the film crew at Plas Brondanw, near Porthmadog, North Wales.<br />

But a gardener told him he kept the plywood Tardis in a shed for years — then got sick of it and dumped it on a bonfire.<br />
