| text = As an occasional viewer of Doctor Who and after reading the letters in Feedback, it was with some trepidation that I watched 73 Yards (25 May BBC1). However, I needn't have worried, as it proves that a good story well told rather than CGI makes a brilliant episode. The enigmatic Doctor only appeared at the beginning and end, but his companion Ruby, played by the excellent Millie Gibson, was at the heart of it. If Russell T Davies is continuing this series with stories like this, then I will become a regular viewer.

...Russell T Davies, I apologise! Feedback (25 May) printed my letter expressing dismay at the apparent "Disneyfication" of Doctor Who, following the double bill that introduced the new series. But episode three was a vast improvement and definitely back on track. And episode four... wow! Welcome back, Doctor.
