As die-hard Doctor Who fans already know, the Time Lord's deadliest enemy, the Daleks, nearly didn't appear in this new series, after the BBC had problems negotiating their appearance with the estate of the characters' late creator, Terry Nation. Luckily, an agreement was finally made and, this week, when the Doctor and Rose land in Utah, USA, they discover the last remaining Dalek among a collection of alien artefacts. And it's not long before things take a scary turn! Look out for Bruno Langley (who played Corrie's Todd Grimshaw), who stars as a scientist.
