ACTOR Jason Flemyng, son of Gordon Flemyng, director of the 1965 movie Dr Who And The Daleks, is miffed after being snubbed by the makers of the new TV version of the sci-fi series. Flemyng says: 'Dad did the noise of the Dalek spaceship taking off and no one else on the planet can do that noise except me. He passed it on to me before he died. I phoned the Dr Who production office and told them I could do the noise of the Dalek spaceship, but they weren't interested.' There's gratitude for you.
