TIME Lord Matt Smith wants to move to the USA. The 28-year-old Doctor Who star is about to jet off to America to film two episodes in Utah.
And he admits he'd love to live in the States, saying: "It's cool. I like it out there. "You know what, man? I wouldn't say no to living in New York because I love that city and I wouldn't say no to living in LA because I want to have my breakfast by a pool."
Spirit
He said he loves being able to go unrecognised in America because he's so well-known in Britain that "I have to wear a lot more hoods".
Matt said he was really excited about his first Doctor Who Christmas special, a loose take on A Christmas Carol, featuring Michael Gambon.
In a US interview to promote the show on BBC America, Matt said: "There's lots of snow, crackers and turkey and that goes hand in hand with the spirit of The Doctor and Doctor Who, really. He loves Christmas.
"I love his madness. I love his brain. It's the greatest part I've ever played."
