Female fans find her so FRILL-ing

BESOTTED fans are saying "Knickers!" to Doctor Who babe Billie Piper.

The extra-terrestrial totty has become telly's latest lesbian icon.

And an army of lady-loving viewers are sending her sexy smalls.

Billie, 23 — Rose Tyler in the returning small-screen hit — is tickled pink by the fillies postbag.

And co-star David Tennant, who plays the Doc, thinks it's really out of this world. In fact he's quite jealous.

David, 34, admitted: "I dream of ladies' knickers in the post!

"Someone sent me a Tom Baker-style scarf. But it was knitted to perfection. It's really nice that someone actually sat down and did that. I'm very proud of it." Billie's female following will have even more to drool over when the time-travel show returns to BBC1 on Saturday nights. Not to mention the boys...

Episode one sees Rose transformed into a bitchy bad girl when an evil alien takes over her body.

She shows off more cleavage than ever, hides poisonous perfume between her breasts, has a simpering male slave who calls her "Mistress", fondles herself in the mirror and snogs Doctor Who.

The upper-class alien's reaction on first seeing herself in the mirror is: "Oh my god, I'm a chav!"

Billie told the Daily Star Sunday: "it was really fun to do. I was nervous because it's quite a departure for Rose. It's the first time in Doctor Who that I have played quite a lot of comedy.

"I think it works OK and I hope to play more posh, bad girls."

Show creator Russell T Davies is also still dreaming of upping the show's raunch factor by signing Charlotte Church.

Zombies

Although denying a report that the Welsh diva will appear in the new spin-off series Torchwood, he said: "I do love her and I would put her in."

The first episode of the new series, on Easter Saturday, will send young fans scurrying back behind their sofas.

It features a race of Cat Women and a malicious army of diseased zombies battling in a futuristic hospital.

The second show will introduce Doctor Who's most expensive baddie yet — a heart-stoppingly scary werewolf. Russell said:

"The people who do our computer-generated effects were dying to do a werewolf, so I wrote this episode.

"It's probably our most detailed and fully-rendered monster.

"The effects people have gone the extra mile and stayed in the office until 2am and you can see that in the finished version."

Other villains will include some Crouching Tiger-style monks, vampire bats and the Cybermen, one of the Doctor's oldest foes.

There will also be plenty of laughs. Among the guest stars is Phoenix Nights funnyman Peter Kay.

Russell revealed: "He plays a man called Victor Kennedy. It's marvellous. He has a secret agenda for wanting to find the Doctor. It's funny and quite gruesome.

"David and Billie love him being on set. They're having a great time." Billie agreed: "He's been doing all his gags. You only need to look at him to laugh!"

At last...K-9 is back

CATS and dogs will reign in the latest Doctor Who series.

The Cat Women can cure all diseases at their brilliant hospital but only by secretly experimenting on a race of human zombies.

And older fans will be delighted by the return, in a later episode, of K-9, the Doctor's robot dog who enjoyed many adventures alongside Tom Baker.

The new version of the mechanical mutt will be spotted in a laser gun fight with evil flying bats.

K-9 was last seen on our screens in 1981. Middle-aged devotees will also enjoy the return of the Doctor's companion Sarah Jane Smith (Elizabeth Sladen) who has a serious battle with Rose before giving her advice on how to survive her adventures in space and time.

Tennant is very impressed. He drooled: "She's got amazing legs."

Billie revealed: "Sarah Jane and I have a great bitch fight. We really have a go at each other. But, in the end, Rose asks questions and confides in her. It was a nice storyline to do."
