[edit]

HELLO there, Dreamer readers! Would you believe I am 750 years old? I can hardly take it in myself - I don't feel a day over 30! I have two hearts and a body temperature of 60°F -- that's when I'm being a Dalek-destroying megastar. But when I'm just being myself, my name is Peter Davison and my secret dream is to make a hit record. You see, I didn't even want to be an actor!

I've always loved Dr. Who, though. I first watched it when I was twelve, although the series started in 1963. William Hartnell played Dr. Who, then, and he was followed by Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, of Worzel Gummidge fame, and Tom Baker. I suppose I act a bit of each of their characters. But I've left the floppy hat and trailing scarf behind and dress rather like a Victorian cricketer!

SCI-FI FAMILY!

My wife, Sandra Dickenson, played Trillion in a Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy, so together we make up a real sci-fi family! We first met while making the television series Tomorrow's People. Did you ever see it? I suppose I'm best known for my part in All Creatures Great And Small, when I played Tristan Farnon. Who could have guessed I'd end up in the Tardis!
