Doctor Who — the strangely new character mow ;staved by Patrick Troughton since he materialised in the last series - lands in the Highlands of Scotland in the new story beginning this week.

The first episode, called Doctor Who and the Highlanders will be seen on ABC-3 at 6.30pmn on Friday, September 1.

Clans defeated by English

Tardis, the time ship, lands in a wood and the travellers discover they are near the battlefield of Culloden. The date 1746, and the Scottish clans have been defeated by the English army so their leader, Bonnie Prince Charlie, is fighting for his life.
