[edit]

It's the sci-fi cult legend that won't die.

"Dr. Who," the British science-fiction phenomenon that has beguiled fans around the globe for three decades, is being revved up for a new movie on Fox. British actor Paul McGann ("Alien3") will be the eighth actor to portray Dr. Who. And hambone supreme Eric Roberts ("The Specialist") is the Master, a nefarious time lord who uses his powers for evil. Chewing scenery is no doubt one of the Master's favorite tricks.

"Dr. Who" was first born BBC series in 1963. If this new Who" clicks with audiences when it airs later this season on Fox and the BBC, expect sequels.
