Bubbly Bonnie Langford has all the time in the world for her fellow time traveller Dr. Who ... but she hasn't a moment to spare for love.

And at the start of the new star-studded series, bonnie, who plays Dr. Who's assistant, admitted: "I'm too much in love with my job to fall in love with a man."

The pint-sized redhead, who has been acting since she was seven, is 23 - and has never had a steady boyfriend.

Her career, which will soon include the title role in a West End production of Charley Girl, has introduced her to some of the world's most eligible bachelors. And she hasn't fancied one of them!

"My parents despair of me," she says. I'm 23 and I still live at home. Thus my sisters are married.

"All the showbiz glamour doesn't appeal to me. I never meet men socially because I'd rather stay at home.

"I don't think I'm abnormal because one day I'd like to get married. But not yet."

Bonnie is wild about new Dr Who BBC1, 7.35pm), Sylvester McCoy. "He's great fun," she says.
