LOS ANGELES -- Sirius Productions will hold the first Doctor Who Convention at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 711 Hope St., Saturday and Sunday. "Doctor Who" has been on British television for 17 years and in the U.S. for several years.
"Who 1: The Doctor Who Convention" is a science fiction convention presenting the best of British horror/fantasy television and movies. Two stars of the show, Elisabeth Sladen and Ian Marter, will be featured guests.
Admission at the door is $8 for one day, $15 for the weekend.
