THE Doctor Who Appreciation Society should certainly appreciate Mark Sinclair's effort, on its behalf.
For the last two year. Mark, who lives in Marine Crescent, Whitstable, has been making a "Doctor Who" film entitled "Ocean in the Sky."
All the parts are played by local people, with Mr. Leo Adams as the worthy Doctor and 14-year-old Diane Woodley as the Doctor's assistant Gina.
The somewhat-complicated plot involves the ubiquitous Doctor fighting off concerted attacks from Daleks and another strange alien from an unknown universe.
The script was put together by Oven Tudor, a member of D.w.A.S. and sets were designed and built by Reg Spillett. with "special effects by Kevin Davis and Peter Cox.
Mark said the film should be premiered at the annual Doctor Who Convention, held in London ever the weekend of 11 and 12 August.
After that the film could possibly be need to raise money for children's charities.
