SCRAPYARD owner Roy Cameron had a shock when Dr Who turned up in his yard.
Mr Cameron had his business in Birkbeck Road, Acton, transformed into a Dr Who set for the day.
He said: "I normally work in the office all day but having Dr Who around is fun. My four-year-old grandson is really excited."
Colin Baker, who plays the Doctor. spent the afternoon on location with his assistant Peri, played by Nicola Bryant.
The episode is due to be shown in January and will be called Attack of the Cybermen.
The scene shot in Acton has Dr Who in a tight spot when he is faced by armed robbers. The programme also heralds the return of the dreaded Cybermen
The scrapyard, which had to be closed for the day, was selected by the BBC because it has a car pit, ideal for the tense scene.
