MEET Mary Tamm—the sparkling new tonic for dear old Dr. Who.

The 27-year-old beauty will take over from sexy Louise Jameson as actor Toni Baker's assistant in a new B B C series of Dr. Who adventures in the autumn.

Mary is best known to TV viewers for her Coronation Street role five years ago as Stan Ogden's daughter-in law. While playing that part she was chosen to star with Jon Voight in The Odessa File. Mary won her new £15,000-a-year job from 500 candidates.
