AFTER all those terrifying trips in "Dr. Who's time machine, Tardis, who send have thought that his former able assistent Sarah Jane Smith would have been scared of flying?

Lis will put on brave face again next Wednesday, when she and her husband, actor Brian Miller, fly to Los Angeles, where Lis has been invited to attend a "Dr. Who" convention of enthusiastic American viewers.
Brian who first met Lis at Liverpool Playhouse, is currently appearing in the play "The Way of the World" at Richmond's Orange Tree Theatre."
"His director has kindly offered to stand n for him so that he can travel with me," says Lis, who has just finished some children's programmes for Yorkshire Television.
We will speed a week in Los Angeles where,. I understand some radio chat shows have also been arranged and then we shall have a holiday over there. But as I left Dr. Who in 1976, I am sure I shall be quite out of my depth at this convention."
