"Space, 1999" is a British-produced sci fi show which has titillated American boob-tubers for three seasons. Now zombie lovers can tune into Channel 23 every weeknight at 6 p.m. to view another spaced-out English show called "Doctor Who." The half-hour BBC program already has millions of loyal fans in 30 countries around the world, and Time-Life productions are hoping America will make it 31. "Doctor Who," born with two hearts and a body temperature of 60 degrees, roams the galaxy in his spaceship, the Tardis, and encounters such perils as the Talons of Weng-Chiang, the Masque of Mandragora, the Terror of the Zygons, and the Brain of Morbius.
Should be worth tuning in, if only to see how they pronounce those names.
