PETER DAVIDSON, the fifth actor to play "Dr Who" in the long-running television series, will have a totally different image from his predecessors when the programme returns to BBC 1 in January.

The new-look doctor is a cricket fan and will be dressed accordingly. His knowledge and love cricket will sometimes help him out of tight corners.
