City High students, including sophomore Annika Brashers-Krug (center), dressed as the fourth Doctor, gather around a replica TARDIS on Monday at Iowa City High. Sophomore Tristan Roeder designed and built the TARDIS with help from classmates and his family, and enlisted a group of students to dress as various incarnations of The Doctor and companions on Monday. The landing of the TARDIS on April Fools' Day was a coincidence. Roeder said. calling the one-day "landing" a social experiment in mixing fantasy and reality.
