Actor Jon Pertwee has not yet signed a contract for a new series of the television programme Wurzel Gummidge.
He said at Heathrow Airport: "There is a hiccup over the contract. I believe they call it misunderstanding over price structure."
A former Dr Who, Mr Pertwee said he was due to start shooting the new Worzel Gummidge series in a few weeks' time.
He was leaving for Miami to attend a Dr Who convention.
On the same flight was actress Elizabeth Sladen who played his companion when he was Dr Who. She was also contending the convention.
