[edit]

REMEMBER Kate Manning, the Dr Who girl who swallowed one pair of contact lenses, melted a second pair and lost another 14 sets?

Well the new Dr Who girl, Louise Jameson (above), also wears contact lenses — and also has trouble.

Twenty-five-year-old Louise says: "I use spit to put them on instead of wetting solution

"But I stopped when my doctor discovered a fungus growing on the inside of the lenses."

Beware of the girl with the green eyes! We should be seeing her in the new series later this year.

Spelling correction: Katy Manning
