Dr Who and Disco 2 Graphics at Paris Design Exhibition
The work of two graphic designers—Bernard Lodge and Sid Sutton—is featured in a sequence giving an impression of graphic design in television, part of a major British design exhibition at the Louvre. The sequence includes the opening titles for Dr Who and Disco 2, a regular BBC-2 'pop' music programme, presented by the Line-Up team. The graphics for Dr Who involve the use of electronics and for this Bernard Lodge had the co-operation of Ben Palmer, an electronics engineer.
Graphic Design Department now have some seventy graphic designers, under the direction of Arpad Elfer.
