Trying to explain to bewildered young fans of the T V series why Dr. Who has changed from William Hartnell into Peter Cushing could take up half this film's running time.

Fortunately, few children will go to see anything but the Daleks, and in this big screen version they are in colourful abundance. Adults can regard a visit purely as a matter of parental supervision. —(U). Studio One.
