The work of two BBC Television graphic designers — Bernard Lodge and Sid Sutton — will be featured in a sequence giving an impression of graphic design in television, part of a major British design exhibition to be held at the Louvre, Paris, beginning in April.
At the invitation of Francois Mathey, Director of the Musee des Arts Decoratifs, Louvre, the exhibition, entitled 'L'Idel Et L'Art Forme — Designe en grande Bretagne' is to be staged in the Musee.
The BBC Graphic Design Department of some 70 graphic designers, is under the direction of Arpad Elfer, who joined the BBC in July 1967 to head this department.
