[edit]

Britain's largest museum of Dr Who memorabilia is being created at Llangollen.

Toy magnate David Boyle is converting a former wool mill into his Dapol toy factory and a Dr Who museum.

The business is expected to bring 20 jobs to the town.

Daleks, Cybermen and a Tardis are among the exhibits that could bring 50,000 visitors a year to the museum, which is expected to open next month.

Later this year a model railway exhibition could be added to the attractions and visitors will also be able to tour the factory.

Former Dr Who Jon Pertwee, recreating his famous time-travelling role, will chat to fans and sign autographs during an hour-long appearance at Morrisons supermarket in Shrewsbury on May 20.
