Generally speaking, I believe that all comedians' scripts should be written by the authors of Dr Who. An instalment on March 26 (BBC-1) gave me the keenest delight, peopled as it was by Monoids who talked like Daleks and looked like a cross between an ape and a Cyclops. After an awkward encounter with them, Dr Who himself (William Hartnell) explained that we must travel with understanding as well as hope; he then sneezed and became invisible. I can hardly wait for his reappearance; hut, while waiting, I must point out respectfully to the authors that so far they have done nothing with the Anthropophagi and men whose heads do grow beneath their shoulders.
