DR WHO will have a tough time keeping his mind on saving the universe..
For in the next series of the popular TV show, his girl assistants will reveal more of their heavenly bodies than ever before.
Nothing like it has been seen in the 19 years that the good doctor has kept viewers mesmerised.
But Dr Who - played by Peter Davison of All Creatures Great And Small fame doesn't mind at all.
Tegan (played by Janet Fielding) appears in a nifty little pair of lace-edged shorts topped by a lace tank top.
And Nyssa (played by Sarah Sutton) looks nicer than ever in an off-the-shoulder blouse, culottes and wrap-around skirt.
These are just some of the new outfits which have caused a sensation in the streets of Amsterdam where the new series is now being filmed for screening next year.
Nyssa has been allowed to show her legs because so many male viewers wrote in asking why she usually wears trousers.
Sarah explained: "I wore a skirt just once in the last series and got a lot of compliments."
Older fans would like to see a romance develop between Dr Who and one of his assistants. But Peter Davison says: "Even though I'm the youngest Dr Who, I honestly don't think the kids would like to see kissing in the series.
"One youngster wrote asking me if I was married to Tegan because she moaned at me all the time."
Viewers will be seeing a lot of Peter this year.
"I'm making another series of Sink Or Swim," he says. Peter is fast finding that stardom has its liabilities.
"I can't have much privacy," he says. "I've tried wearing woolly hats and dark glasses, astronauts' hats with huge brims, and even a huge trilby pulled over my face-but someone always sees through my disguise."
