WHAT'S the connection between President Tito and the Daleks? Tito knows what Dalek means, which is more than Terry Nation, creator of the Dr. Who series, could say.
"I just made up the name," said Mr. Nation. He was surprised when I told him of my discovery, that that "dalek" means "far" In Serbo-Croat. By accident, the current film title: "Dr. Who and the Daleks" makes pretty good sense to a Yugoslav. It means "Dr. Who and the Far Ones."
