[edit]

WHO's this? It's the new Who, that's who.

Stepping into the well-worn shoes of the legendary television time traveller Dr Who next year will be British actor Colin Baker.

Forty-year-old Colin will become the sixth Tardis owner when he takes over from Peter Davidson.

Our picture shows Colin getting chummy With his new co-star American actress Nicola Bryant, who will play the new Who's assistant Perpugilliam. So now you know.

Spelling correction: Peter Davison
