The only B.B.C. Saturday item in which anybody I knew (husband and 13-year-old) shows the slightest compulsive interest is "Dr Who" ("an adventure in time and space."). The funniest thing for years with the baddie Daleks - tin boxes with peeping voices - and the ladylike goodies in Greek tunics and golden hair. Altogether this is much more in orbit than that bore The "Wizard of Oz," on the opposition.
