The goal of the Summerfest pledge drive is 3,500 pledges. Last summer, the station had 2,733 pledges that raised $146,467.
As part of the drive, Channel 19 will play host to a mobile "Dr. Who" exhibit trailer equipped with special, effects and animation. Visitors can meet BBC series producer John Nathan-Turner and see a 30-minute film on the actors who played "Dr. Who." The exhibit will be open from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday next to the TV station, 125 E. 31st St. Tickets are $7 in advance (call 737- ) or $8 at the door
