[edit]

BBC-1, 7.20 p.m.: No routine Who this one, but a razzie dazzle of Whos which includes all five Doctors hopping the time zones, quarrelling with The Master (Anthony Ainley), tripping over Daleks, and generally getting in each other's hair. This 90-minute special was written by Terrance Dicks to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the world's longest-running sci-fi series. Don't worry about the intergalactic plot—just enjoy the reappearance of all those monsters we've grown to know and love, with, working backwards through time, Peter Davison, Tom Baker, Jon Pertwee, Patrick Troughton and Richard Hurndall standing in admirably for the late William Hartnell, the original Doctor back in 1965.

7.20 DOCTOR WHO: Special 20th birthday edition finds all five manifestations fighting an unknown adversary. See Pick of the Day.
