Members of the "Doctor Who" show, produced by BBC-TV and aired on WTTW-CHANNEL 11, will appear at the All-Doctor Who convention sponsored by Chicago Comicon, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. August 12-13 and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. August 14 at Ramada O'Hare Inn, Mannheim and Higgins roads, Des Plaines.
PETER DAVISON, fifth and newest actor to portray Dr. Who in a series of actors who have stepped into the role when the character of the Doctor "regenerates" himself, will make a guest appearance.
JANET FIELDING, who plays the role of the adventuress Tegan, will join him, as will NICHOLAS COURTNEY, who commanded the role of the Birgadier. Courtney is the only actor to have worked with all five Doctors Who.
Others to appear include IAN MARTER, an actor who has penned two Doctor Who novelizations, and JOHN NATHAN-TURNER, who will give insight into the show behind the scenes.
Admission is priced at $18 for three days; however, if not all three-day tickets are sold, a fee of $8 per day may be instituted. Information and reservations may be obtained by phoning 274-1832.
