This battered old blue box is only 17in high, but the prop from the television series Doctor Who is set to fetch £6,000 or more at auction. The police box is better known as the Tardis, which has appeared in the show since the 1960s. The scale model will be auctioned at a Christie's film and entertainment sale in London next week. The box first appeared in Doctor Who in 1965 when it was seen falling over a cliff, and was finally retired in 1979.
