ACTRESS Daphne Heard, 77, who played 'Mrs. Poo' in TV's To The Manor Born, has died.
Daphne, a widow, had been in Bristol Royal Infirmary after a series of heart attacks earlier this Year.
During her 60-year career, Daphne acted alongside actors such as Laurence Olivier as well as in radio and TV shows including Upstairs, Downstairs and Dr. Who.
For many years she was a drama teacher at Bristol Old Vic School where her pupils included Peter O'Toole.
Her agent David White said in London yesterday: "She was a splendid character actress."
