[edit]

The Dalek invasion of Cannes—led by an 80-piece band with trumpets blaring and banners waving—was staged by Lion International Films to promote the worldwide sales of Regal International's "Dr. Who And The Daleks." Starring Peter Cushing, Roy Castle, Jennie Linden and the robots themselves, the film has just been completed at Shepperton.
