[edit]

A FEW weeks ago we told you there'd be a special treat coming for all Doctor Who fans. Well, here's the good news that you've been waiting for ...the BBC will soon be screening a very special Doctor Who adventure. It features all five past and present Doctors in a story called, appropriately enough, The Five Doctors. Also featured in the 90 minute film are many old Doctor companions, along with many of his greatest enemies. (And, yes, they include the Daleks!). Nevertheless, even though the programme is very much a celebration of the Time Lord's past 20 years, there is a genuine storyline and plot to this adventure. As true Doctor fans will know, the first Doctor, William Hartnell, has died. He can be seen briefly in the programme, though, but for the most part actor Richard Hurndall takes on the role and, with the aid of some make-up, he is a very believable Time Lord. The film marks the 20th anniversary of Doctor Who, and will be screened this week (from 21st November). Check the time and exact date in your papers.
