TEN thousand Dr. Who fans time-warped into Chicago yesterday to pay homage to their hero.
They are members of the North American Dr Who Appreciation Society.
The Doctor, alias actor Peter Davison, who has become a cult figure in the U.S., and his assistant Nyssa (Sarah Sutton) were invited to the annual convention of his fan club.
The programme, which is sold to 39 countries, celebrates its 20th anniversary next year.
