[edit]

TOM Baker is happy not to have to travel through time and space any more as Dr Who.

He has tossed aside his long scarf to play Long John Silver in a Christmas pantomime in London.

Tom is also the host of an imaginative new TV series screening on 9 each weekday at 4.30.

The series, The Book Tower looks at children's books.

Meanwhile the new Dr Who, heart-throb Peter Davison who starred In the series All Creatures Great And Small has' proved he is a clown at heart.

The youthful doc is pictured here all partied-up for a scene from the new series.
